The 4th Global War on Terror - Deja vu all over again!

Re: The 4th Global War on Terror - Deja vu all over again!

Where others see only terror, Mitt sees opportunity.

Best quote I've seen from any columnist writing on foreign policy this political season.
At least the president has a foreign policy. Romney and Paul Ryan haven’t spent time thinking and speaking a lot about foreign policy. They have simply taken the path of least resistance and parroted the views of their neocon advisers. They talk all tough at Iran and Syria and label the president a weak apologist and buildup bogymen and rant about how America must dictate events in the Middle East. That’s not a doctrine; it’s a treacherous neocon echo.

If she did it on a subway car, she'd be praised as an artist.....

This b*tch seems to have mastered at least one aspect of libstain cant: Her right to free speech includes the right to obliterate the free speech rights of those with whom she disagrees. Lease a different billboard and put any g.d. message on it you want, Nazi cow. But leave other people's billboards alone.

Well shucks! Based on this we should elect Mittens Romney Prez so he can have John Bolton as Sec of State and Michelle Bachmann as Sec of Defense!!!!

Re: The 4th Global War on Terror - Deja vu all over again!

John Bolton never representing the United States again in any official capacity is, by itself, a sufficient reason to not elect a Republican president for the remainder of his lifetime.

But she's right and they are wrong, so isn't it ok?

Interestingly she will probably be represented in court by a Jewish attorney who will get her either no punishment or as little as feasible.

I'd have to agree. Considering there's video evidence from two different angles of the incident, it'll be fairly open/shut.
She'll plead to some lesser offense and get off with a $250 fine, community service, and suspended jail time.

If the roles were reversed we'd be hearing about her "religious freedom."

Re: The 4th Global War on Terror - Deja vu all over again!

Probably. Somehow I doubt the ACLU is going to be returning her call...

If they'd jump to the defense of Frank Collin and his Chicago Nazis, why would they hesitate here? BTW, Collin, to the shock of everyone, turned out to be a kiddie diddler. Quelle surpise. BTWII: his birthname is Francis Cohen.

"I hate Illinois Nazis."

This new round of coordinated Al Qaida inspired activity throughout the Middle East is another good indicator why chess should be a required part of the curriculum in US elementary and secondary education. We need to teach children how to think ahead and anticipate, not merely react, so that they grow up to become adults who can think ahead and anticipate.

Nah. We need kids to not play chess. But rather to learn to think out of the box with an unlimited set of variables and options to problem solve. The purpose is to have the future of society to not learn how to out think Al Qaida, but rather to win at entreprenuerial and team business creativity. We don't care about the 'diversion' that is AQ, but rather the 'war' that is the global economy.

What should have happened already is that Romney and Obama sat down together in private, just the two of them, and made sure to speak with a single, unified, co-ordinated voice on as much as they could agree upon in as broad a manner as they could have stated: "No matter which one of us is elected, this is where the US stands on these things, like free speech and tolerance of other religions. no matter how much you agitate we are not going to change our society to be censorious and oppressive." Both of them standing together. Carrying exactly the same message.

I don't mind. But Romney stands even less than no chance under that scenario.
