5. There were two Kings (Scott and Chad). No idea if they were related. If you could start with them, could it help bring Steven King back as a big supporter?

Chad was a manager for one year. He couldn't skate so I wouldn't start a team with him ;) And he isn't any relation to Stephen or Tabitha, so that wouldn't help with the donations either. But other than that...

:p

Dave Wilson signed an amateur tryout contract with the Manchester Monarchs.
Gustav was named to the All-New England team today.

besides the Ryans, who had the same last name and was not related?

I might start with the Standbrooks.... Grant and anyone else who could do anything else he/she wanted to, as long as Grant were in the mix.

Jim and Dwight Montgomery.

Jim and Dwight Montgomery.

Nice pluck!

How about Scott "Spike" Smith and goalie Pete Smith.

Dates back to my years at Maine!

Also

Dan Murphy and Ben Murphy!

1. Clarks (Wes, Trapper, Brett)
2. Montogomeries (Jim and Dwight)
3. Were David and Brendan Walsh related? if not, the Walshes.
4. Believe it or not, there was another Purcell from 83-85 in addition to Ted.

Potato,

When did Chad King play? I have no record of him. Oh I see Priceless comment on him earlier!

Dave Walsh played in 77-78 but I have no record of what number he wore. As the person who put together the numbers list for the S.I.D. office do you have any info? I doubt they were related, but can't prove it!

And Jim Purcell played '83-'84 and '84-'85. Nice work!

And now to really stretch things

Ray Roy and Jean Yves Roy!

Well, we know who is going to be the leader in PIM. :p

Can't believe no one selected the Lundins.

There are also the Heistens, Hughes (John and Brian), Hopsons, Johnsons and Tortorellas.

Of course, I'd take the Weinrich brothers...

Not me. I'm still ****ed at Jason for ripping us off on pizza and soda in the dorms at hockey camp at Bowdoin. :p

That sounds like Jason...

Re: The 3rd official 09-10 Maine season thread: Bubble-icious

Chad King is listed as lettering in 92-93. That is all I know.

Here are a few more (some related, some not, some may have never played):
Lundback (Anders and Magnus)
Mansoff (Jason and Shawn)
Anderson (Theo and Shawn)

My only complaint as I review some names in not enough Mushaluks, Shaneburgers, or Greyeyes.

Theo Andersson has two ss's. Shawn Anderson only one.

According to the listing on the Maine website , Dave Walsh wore 10 in 77-78 and 21 in 79-80.
