Last night, before Cuomo decided to be a tyrannical fascist.

Also, since when does a nuclear weapon count as "arms" and not "ordinances"?
1 a : a means (as a weapon) of offense or defense; especially : firearm

A nuclear weapon meets that definition of arms.

The bomb itself is not the means, the implement used to fire it is. The bomb itself is still an ordinance.

I like the gun proposal. In particular you need the background checks on ALL sales, as well as enforcing the law when someone banned from owning guns tries to acquire one.

All in all a bold move. Given the popular support the proposals have, throw it out there and force the Congress to vote on it. If Republicans want to obstruct yet another law with widespread appeal to the voters, let 'em. That'll be there problem come next election, because if obstructionism was popular the GOP wouldn't have lost 2 Senate seats and 8 House seats in the last election.

the right to bear arms still exists no matter what he does. i never thought the 2nd amendment read "right to bear every and all arms".
This question actually came up today in talking with someone about the UFO ("Obama spy drone") that was flying over Houghton/Hancock last night: Am I allowed to buy or build an antiaircraft gun for my backyard? Or does it have to be a gun I can carry around?

They were gerrymandered out of one of those house seats.

There's no problems with the arms you bear. Good luck finding ordinances.

Shoulder-mounted rocket launchers, similar to what you see in the game Half-Life, are always a possibility. ;)

I actually thought the knuckle-dragging would ebb after the election. Fukk was I naive.

Something everyone should read.

I got to the part where they said a semi-automatic rifle is the same as a shotgun or pistol and stopped. That's disengenuous at best and outright lying at worst. If they are going to equate those, then I see no reason not to equate a fully automatic with a semi-automatic.

A revolver is a type of pistol, is it not? And is that not semi-automatic?

Semi-automatic is semi-automatic.....fully automatic is not semi-automatic. It really isn't that difficult to figure out, they even included pictures for those who aren't as bright!
