Funny reminder. When I went, I was still working ... for a defense company. I made sure I brought nothing with me to identify that. You know how they always suggest putting a business card inside your suitcase in case your outside tag gets lost? I went through everything I brought with me to make sure no extraneous business card, clothing, water bottle, or anything had my company name on it.

Someday at the F4. TBH it would be great to meet all of you. My only chance was 2003 but that was so early in the Cafe and also I wasn't in the right headspace at that time TBH. Pre-diagnosis and pre-medication clinical depression is a bitch.

I have met the Cornell contingent here, but IINM nobody else. Someday, when Casey hauls our asses back to the F4. Who knows? Maybe sooner than later.

Several times. He’s a friend. I think you two would get on swimmingly! I’ve met several people from here. Back in the day we would do a meet and greet at the F4. There even used to be a posters hockey game. Ah, memories.
 
The Daughter believes Kirk's wife killed him, and to me that indicates that rumor has genuine staying power because -- having the parents she does -- she avoids politics like the plague.

Until self-proclaimed Xtians speak out against Christofascism and the entanglement of secular politics with religion, the only conclusion we can draw is that the SBC and LDS churches speak for them. I have yet to see more than a handful of supposedly Xtian churches/groups do this. Meanwhile, plenty of Muslim clerics and scholars don't seem to have a problem criticizing and/or denouncing their Salafist and Islamist nutballs.
 
I think you need to make a distinction between the average Xtian and the Evangelicals/fundamentalists. Most Xtians didnt like Charlie Kirk his followers just scream louder.

Ironically I would say the average Xtian is closer to the Pope's ideals than Chalie Kirk or the LDS Church.

Cool. All for naught if they don't speak up and drown out the hate coming from groups that have chosen to follow the Antichrist. All I hear is deafening silence, which with that sect I can only interpret as "Harder daddy!"

Far be it from me to defend Xtians but blaming the average Xtian for what their leadership does is like blaming a Michigan fan for what Sherrod Moore did.

Is it my fault that Jonathan Greenblatt is a Nazi Collaborator? I can rail against him and deny them money but it changes little. Hell from what I am told half the ADL hates him but cant do anything to stop him.
