When conservatives say a city is "crime-ridden," what they mean is "black people live there."

This has been the game the Right has played since the 1970s. "Urban" is just the synonym for the n-word that they can put into their headlines.

After the reporter spoke about Seattle decriminalising and then criminalising drug use, she declared: ‘Where are you getting your facts from? You are from New York. You are listening to the wrong people.’

He then claimed he saw ‘lots of people shooting up’ that day, to which she rolled her eyes and questioned: ‘Oh did you?’

They then had an awkward exchange after she asked if he had been bothered by these people and he revealed he’d been in his car when passing them.

‘Oh no you were in your car!? They were hurting you so bad,’ she mocked.

I was just in Seattle...it is way safer now than it was 11 years ago when I lived there and it wasn't that bad back then.

And I am not sure Faux is referencing Black People...I sure didn't see a lot of them ;^) Maybe they are fearing all the Asians!

Well urban = black for Fox. But you're right, the only city with fewer black people than Seattle is Portland. Jimmy Hendrix must be the only black person in the history of the PNW. It is many wonderful things, but it aint diverse.

There is significantly more crime per capita in rural areas than cities, and always has been. The ignorance, poverty, and idiocy of the countryside is where crime festers. The vileness and stupidity of rural communities is where the worst people are hatched.

Sir Mix-A-Lot is from Seattle. Plenty of football and basketball players too.

When I live in Lakewood (outside of Tacoma) they formed their own police department because they tired of being on COPS with Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

I also reffed in some rural Pierce County places that were pretty bad too.

I've worked in plenty of neighborhoods in Chicago that would make these people sh*t their pants.

It's a weird feeling when you tell a coworker where you were at for work and their reply is: "My mom used to live in that 'hood and *I* refuse to go there at night now. You were the only white boy in a 10 block radius there!"
 
Given that the Secret Service deleted everything on 1/6, I think it's safe to assume that dogs are good reads on people. I'd have Biden fire the ones that got bit.
 
Curtain Gate started at the GOP debate last night. The impeachment of Joe Biden starts today. Oh, and there's a Government shutdown just around the corner.

That’s been Putin’s gameplan ever since the lightning strike failed. I’m sure Russian interference in 2024 will be even greater than 2016.
