This is the answer. Every time him or one of his clowns talks it hurts their numbers and it gives Biden and the Dems easy fodder...and its working.

They are going to let 702 (part of FISA dealing with foreign intelligence operations) die to argue over stuff no one is even really worried about?

It astounds me that the party of Reagan and Bush...a party that was all about Law and Order, Hating the Russians, pro Intelligence and military is openly against the FBI and the DOJ, wants to destroy the intelligence operations in this country and is openly hoping Putin wins in his war against the Ukraine while spitting in the face of vets.

Its times like these I wish people like Ritt were still around (or Nate and Phil) because it would be hilarious to see their reactions and flip flopping because of this.

Looking around, who else is waiting in the wings who is really strong? Newsom is Jon Edwards Hair Gel Guy 2.0. Booker is an empty Wall Street suit. Harris is a non-entity even now. Pritzker is a billionaire in a time when we should outlaw billionaires. Buttigieg is exactly wrong for a need to move significantly farther left on economics. Warnock seems to have disappeared.

Whitmer is awesome. Fetterman is awesome but now impossible. AOC needs to win NY-Gov or at least Sen. and she will still be 4 years younger than JFK. Porter was wonderful but needed to beat Schiff.

You said it yourself, Pete is a jar of play doh that will take whatever shape he needs to whenever he needs to. If he thinks the electorate is moving left, so will he.

Ive thought about this a bit and I really think Pete is about as good as the Dems have got in terms of presidential material.
  • He'll sign whatever he's handed by a liberal congress.
  • He'll be a good face on TV both because he's got the look and he's an extremely sharp wit. I've never seen him flustered or cornered in an interview.

Agreed on all of this. Plus we have 4 years to figure out who is next anyways. Im sure Kepler will hate whoever it is ;^)

Anyone who would vote for a dem in any election moved past the homophobia a while ago. Keep in mind, the 2016 cycle was nearly a decade ago now. Things have changed. Boomers have died. Gen Z is able to vote.
