It's not a winning strategy but Christians are called to try and convert non-believers. There is a right and wrong way to do that of course but hard to judge how he's trying from a tweet alone.

Ballot Box 13.

If that happens, it will almost certainly be Cruz getting the "assistance" this time.

He shouldn't be doing that on Twitter when he's trying to win an election. We can safely assume that this was total dogwhistling to his base, with no pure intentions.

I wonder what the Republicans internal data says about the race in Alaska? They’ve stepped up advertising for Don Young in the past few days.

As much as I’d love to be optimistic I don’t see Young losing.

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

That is going to be one in depth investigation if he loses on Tuesday...which you gotta think his numbers are telling him hence all this crap. Abrams fired back though:

Agreed. If Kemp is winning or even tied, there's no reason to start throwing hail Mary's of questionable legality. Having said that the man should be investigated by the feds and indicted as far as I'm concerned as he's violating people's civil rights particularly the questionable "hold" on registrations.

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

I notice Trump has gone with the "ill equipped" line for two very qualified African American candidates running for Governor in the South. But, he's not a racist, right?

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

How sweet would it be if David Brat went down in Virginia's 7th? Solid Republican since Nixon and Brat is psychotic.

It would be equally sweet if any of them went down, because they're all A-holes in the GOP. We're just talking about matter of degrees here. :D

Some other random election eve thoughts:

1) I'm very surprised Joe Donnelly is still in that race, let along leading by a couple according to a couple of recent polls. Thought that one, along with Missouri, would go the way of North Dakota. Which is to say a reasonably popular incumbent who's done nothing wrong per se but is caught up in a partisan undertow. Voted against ACA repeal, tax theft, and Kavanaugh. Even trix might have to send him a bouquet of flowers if he pulls this one out on election night. ;)

2) The race I'd really like to see the GOP lose is Georgia governor. Yeah yeah about Ted Cruz but he's already a pariah. Kemp is everything wrong with the GOP in one package - racism, voter suppression, anti-democracy, you name it. If he loses that race to a black woman this will be the most crushing defeat for Georgia conservatives since General Sherman stopped by for a visit some 150+ years ago.

3) Lastly I do get a kick out of media reports that "unnamed GOP operatives" are projecting confidence. What do you expect them to say, that they're fuked so call the hearse already? How does stuff like this even get quoted?

Re: The 2018 midterm elections!

The Georgia Democrats needed to announce an investigation into the GOPs voter rolls activities and make a big stink about it. I know that Dems in many southern states have been emasculated. The lesson Dems must learn is that they can take the high road while getting serious about GOP cheating.
