The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Heard something about Clarkson and SLU up in Lake Placid, if they do this then I really hope the girls teams get a game in as well.

Was told this will be November 24th.

Link to this year's spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qmduvEavIzlPZci4Y7UuB8wPuVSZZOOa3mdIjMgeea8/

"Effectively complete"* schedules:

ECAC: Non-travel-partner conference schedule released
(None)

NCHC: Conference Schedule Released
Miami

North Dakota

* Effectively complete meaning the school has released the schedule, or enough alternate information has been reported to determine the schedule is complete, minus exhibition games. Discretion will be used to determine whether WCHA teams will be using their entire allotment.

Harvard and Cornell will meet three times next year with the "Frozen Apple" game a non-conference contest.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

They said to open the season. Last year, I recall they are no longer playing Canadian exhibitions. So would 6-7 October be safe?

According to the Mack Report site the LSSU games are Oct. 5-6. The Merrimack homecoming game against UMass Amherst is Oct. 27.

Sunday semi final games? Interesting. Wonder if that's only if Wisconsin hosts due to high school conflicts or for the entire conference to try to work around March Madness.

Pretty sure it is because of high school conflicts.

Wisconsin rents out their facility for high school wrestling and boy's basketball tournaments.

There was a lot of talk locally about Saturday games at the Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center (where UW played until the late 1990s) or Sunday games on campus...

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Based on what I've seen with the WCHA, along with what's happened in previous years, Air Force should be playing Colorado College and Denver on 12-13 October. I'll see if I can find a pattern for where they're going to play this time around. We can already deduce the dates.

"Effectively complete"* schedules:

ECAC: Non-travel-partner conference schedule released
(None)

HEA:
Mass Lowell

NCHC: Conference Schedule Released
Miami

WCHA: Schedule Mostly Released
Alaska Anchorage
Alaska Fairbanks
Bemidji State
Bowling Green
Ferris State
Minnesota Mankato
Northern Michigan

* Effectively complete meaning the school has released the schedule, or enough alternate information has been reported to determine the schedule is complete, minus exhibition games. Discretion will be used to determine whether WCHA teams will be using their entire allotment.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

For the record the fourth Catamount Cup team should be RPI, so they fill in the two games not featuring UAH.

I think you can put Lake state under the effectively complete column.
