The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Link to this year's spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qmduvEavIzlPZci4Y7UuB8wPuVSZZOOa3mdIjMgeea8/

"Effectively complete"* schedules:

ECAC: Non-travel-partner conference schedule released
(None)

NCHC: Conference Schedule Released
Miami
Minnesota Duluth
North Dakota

* Effectively complete meaning the school has released the schedule, or enough alternate information has been reported to determine the schedule is complete, minus exhibition games. Discretion will be used to determine whether WCHA teams will be using their entire allotment.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

Yea, but techtodenver seems to indicate that Minnesota has backed out of the contracted visit to Potsdam/Canton in 2018/19.

Yes, I don't know what happens to next season either, Clarkson already went for our two so maybe they eliminated it because they didn't want a St. Lawrence team that's been going through a tough stretch taking up 2 of their home slots, this was decided well before Motzko was hired to answer your question, Joe.

Re: The 2018-19 Schedules Thread

At the BU Banquet today it was stated that BU will open with an exhibition vs Arcadia on 6 Oct, travel to Minnesota State (for 2 games) the following weekend and then host Quinnipiac (for one game) the weekend after.

One for the future notes, the 2019 Friendship Four is Northeastern, UNH, Colgate, and Princeton. Last weekend of November as always.

I'm surprised Colgate's doing another one already since they were in the inaugural one and there's only been four including this upcoming year. I would expect them in the 7th or later, but OK.

It's entirely possible that the remaining teams yet to go have declined.

The ones remaining are Harvard, Cornell, and Dartmouth. Very surprising if it were Harvard given the Friendship pact is between Belfast and Boston. Cornell I could understand if they declined because of Red Hot Hockey at MSG; maybe that's where the exception is deriving from.
