I'm very impressed with the crowd despite the bad weather in the area. Love the Beanpot. Third period is going to be great.

Great game. Just what one would expect. The game reflects the respective rankings: BC #4, BU #7. And that's just about right. McGuire has stood on his head. BU started playing better, but it seems as though the BC defense is just a little quicker, getting into the shooting lanes and bothering enough shots to allow very few real scoring chances for BU. They're going to have to figure out how to sustain pressure so that they can capitalize on a defensive breakdown (while somehow preventing BC from breaking through).

As much as I hate to see BC win anything, Maguire made this thing almost unwatchable with his pinging, so I'll take some pleasure in the result.

Agreed. And poetic justice that Tuch's gamewinner pinged off the pipe! edit - well not the first part.

So BU will win their way up to 3rd or 4th in HE but fall to 13/14 in the PWR?
