Well you could, but it'd count against your 34. Brown might be able to get away with it because the Ivy League may consider them "scrimmages" to not count against their 29, but that wouldn't apply to the other three.

From the Brown thread. Based upon LSSU being fairly full, I'd say they may be first opponents in the Catamount Cup. Awaiting confirmation on that.
Uconn, Holy Cross, Vermont, Providence (2) Lake Superior. Then either Mass-Lowell or Northeastern at the Belfast BeanPot. Evidently they will play Colgate in Belfast and it will count as an ECAC game.

Will LSSU be part of the 4 teams in the Ice Breaker Classic this coming October(9-10?) @ Portland,Maine...being Hosted by the University of Maine Black Bears? Apparently lots of information (schedule, roster, and such) will be released on or around the 13th in a "hockey launch day"
No announcements here but I do think teams announcing next year's tentative schedules sooner rather than later goes a long way towards generating interest. Especially if it's done around the conf/ncaa tournament. Seems to be trending in that direction as opposed to July when we're all at the beach.
Of course then you open yourself up to irritating fans if changes are made. Best to wait until all is set in stone to release it. The NFL has half as many teams and starts a month earlier and they're still a couple weeks away from announcing their schedule.

In addition, the lower 48 schools will play both Alaska schools in a set opponent tournament. Games played vs. Alaska schools in Alaska do not count against the 34 game limit.

Yes, a person at UAA confirmed to me that UAA is hosting of course Fairbanks, and St. Cloud State and Arizona State for the Kendall Classic. I understand that Sullivan Arena is getting some upgrades this year, lipstick on a pig.
