The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Didn't see this one in the spreadsheet yet...

Per the Badger Hockey Digest video, NMU at UW Oct 9/10

They mentioned this as the first series of the year for UW.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

There is a Rest Area/Visitor's Center just off of I-35 before you start your decent into Duluth that is worth the stop. It has a pretty awesome overlook of Duluth and the St. Louis River. If this is an early season trip, the fall colors could be decent.

Right before the Visitor's Center are the signs like you'd see in Colorado about "6% grades ahead". I turned to my wife and said "What?". We stopped at the Visitor Center and walked down there to it and then saw why out the back of it. It is an impressive sight.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Here is UNO's home schedule next season, which is maybe not 100% complete as this is only 19 home games and there are usually 20-22.

Feb 19th & 20th St. Cloud State

Hoping to get the group to head down there to see the new arena for this series. Don't think I have any conflicts for the series for a change.

Good luck getting tickets.

The school is confident, and their publicly divulged revenue projections reflect this, that every game next season will be a sellout.

I can't imagine that Trinity Western game on January 2nd selling out, unless UNO sells out the entire season in advance, something that might actually be in play.

Since a BCS semi-final game is almost certainly in the cards that night, I can't say for sure that I will be there, even. An exhibition game against a Canadian school? Meh.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

There is a good chance that one of the four DU/CC games will be an outdoor game at Coors Field in late February. The AVs/Detroit NHL game is on Saturday 2/27/16.

Although it's not at a campus site, is UConn going to be considered the host, or is it truly neutral? I know UConn's been playing home games around the state, and obviously it matters for RatingsPI purposes, what with the weighted games.

I think UConn is playing all their home games next season in Hartford...but I could be wrong

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Clarkson's non conference so far:
RIT
Niagara
@ Bowling Green 2x
Western Michigan 2x
@ UNH
@ Merrimack

I heard Clarkson and UMass-Lowell will be part of the College Hockey Showcase over Christmas in Pittsburgh joining Robert Morris and Penn State.

I had also heard the Lowell would be in that tourney with RMU and Penn State but hadn't heard who the 4th team was. I was told it'll be held Dec 28-29 (Mon-Tue)

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Looking for UMD's schedule and particularly the weekend of Feb. 19-21. I've been told they'll have a Friday/Sunday series because Saturday is dedicated to the quadruple header of 7AA and 7A Section semi-finals that run from Noon until 11:00PM.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

Apparently Notre Dame at Penn State for two. Not official yet though so I would hold off, just rumored so far.

Re: The 2015-16 Schedules Thread

I believe Merrimack, UNH, Clarkson and St. Lawrence have a two year agreement set up. Next year the ECAC schools visit the hockey east teams and in 16/17 the hockey east teams go to upper state NY
