I'm pretty sure the West Committee bumped Adrain up to the 2 seed to secure the home game. It was retaliation for the East putting Oswego up at 3 - or the East committee moved Oswego down as a compromise so as to move one of the first round games out of the East and give the top two seeds in the East byes.

Does anyone know the OT rules for NYS High School hockey? Do they do X OT's and then penalty shots, or do they play and play and play??

I have the same problem with doing radio of our HS games. UStream inserts commercials every 15-20 minutes. Drives listeners nuts.

I'm not sure when and if they go to a shoot out? This past weekend we had a 3 overtime game, and Oswego HS was in a double or triple OT game in the semis a few years back.

They would play four 7:30 overtime periods, then a shoot out , with a three minute break between OT periods

Adrian wins WIN convincingly and loses SOS convincingly - that's a push
Adrian wins COP and RNK by thin margins. It would not be a stretch to put them at #2. Much less of a stretch than it was to put Oswego at 3.

Then the Utica QF could be a bit delayed.... :) Thanks! I could not find it on the NYSPHSAA site

How does Adrian win common opponents? Oswego is 3-0-0 (wins over Geneseo X2 and Lawrence) while Adrian is 1-0-2 (win over Geneseo and 2x tie to Lawrence.)

I think he means common opponents in comparing the western teams to get Adrian at 2.
