Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

FWIW... if Brady ever goes down, I feel pretty good about Tebow running the O.

OK... laugh and throw eggs and tomatoes all you want... but they can't make it through my firewall. :p

And an arrest warrant was issued this morning for Hernandez. Obstruction of justice, which I think anyone could have seen coming. You can't hand over your phone in multiple pieces and the same with the home security system.
Not surprised the guy looks like punk, maybe that's unfair but in this case it looks to be true

NECN says no arrest warrant has been issued.

It's getting awfully hard to give him the benefit of the doubt. I realize the media gets things wrong (like this arrest warrant) but there are too many things that don't add up.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Everywhere I am looking says that the arrest warrant is being drawn up and he will be charged with obstruction of justice.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

So let me get this straight. They have surveillance tape of Hernandez and the deceased at about 3 a.m. on the morning of June 17. The buddy turns up dead, with a time of death estimated between 1 and 5:30 a.m. that morning. Hernandez destroys his phone and surveillance system and has his house cleaned.

Now, news choppers are following him around as he drives a white Audi SUV.

And June 17 happens to be the 19th anniversary of a famous drive around L.A. in a white bronco.

Anyone happen to see Al Cowlings recently?

I think the phone was destroyed because he didn't want people to know he spent 45 minutes on a call with Ray Lewis at 4am.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

ABC is reporting that Robert Kraft called Governor Deval Patrick to ask that if the police have to arrest and handcuff Aaron Hernandez, do it quietly and away from the public.

Wouldn't that be taken care of by the police telling him (or his lawyer) he had until X to turn himself in so he can just drive to the station himself? If the police have to arrest him they can and will do it pretty much wherever they have to. It isn't a matter for the governor anyway.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

has Hernandez spent time at the police station? I keep reading about them going to his house etc...has he been questioned extensively? I'm assuming he has and I've just missed those references.

My guess is he didn't pull the trigger, one of his other two 'friends' did but none of them are confessing and the police are just slowly tightening the the case...they can prove obstruction, which puts Hernandez in a position to be more forthcoming.

No matter what, Tebow better go buy some receiver's gloves. Any free agent or recently retired TE's are probably rummaging through the laundry basket looking for their workout clothes.

The police found this text to Ray Lewis on Aaron Hernandez' new cell
