The 2013 New England Patriots

I about died laughing when his lawyer said (with a straight face!) that the case was "weak" after the 10-15 soliloquy by the prosecutor spelling out pretty clearly minute by minute of the murder of Lloyd. Motive? Check. Opportunity? Check. Video of the accused before - with the victim - and after - without the victim - and video of the murder weapon in his hand? Check. Granted, I am not a legal scholar and the lawyer will try to get stuff thrown out, but it seems pretty open and shut. Then again, it seemed pretty open and shut in the OJ case...

I do think police and prosecutors have learned from the OJ debacle. And even he didn't leave bullet casings and chewing gum in a rental car. I would guess that verdict is on the mind of every DA with a high profile murder on their docket...I like that they took the time to put it together and reduce the risks of him wriggling out.

His attorney can try but this one looks a little stronger than some...of course, tomorrow we could learn one of the detectives was leaking info to the press or something that could help Hernandez.

I'm assuming the Dept of Corrections has already given #85 to another prisoner, a long time ago.

Oops...According to ESPN Aaron Rodgers implicated in Odin Lloyd's death. :p

They have to prove that was the murder weapon, and I don't think they've found it yet, have they?
Without the weapon this could be another OJ case.

OJ killed all the witnesses, Aaron wasn't that smart

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

It gets worse.

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- FOX 25 has learned exclusively that investigators are looking into Aaron Hernandez as a possible suspect in a double murder that happened on July 16, 2012 in downtown Boston.

According to the Boston Police blog from that date, officers responded to the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Herald Street just after 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found three people had been shot, two fatally, as they sat in a car at a traffic light.

The men were identified as Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu. The FOX 25 source said the men, who worked at a cleaning company in Dorchester, had just left a bar in the area.

Furtado and Abreu were sitting in the front seat of the vehicle when witnesses said the occupants of a gray or silver SUV with Rhode Island plates opened fire on it. The surviving victim was in the back seat. Investigators believed two others in the car fled the scene.

Appeal for bail is denied. Defense lawyer was a joke but David Boies couldn't have gotten him bail.

To sum up what the judge said in denying bail: Get used to living in prison. You're going to be there the rest of your life.

The hits just keep on coming....

Boston PD says they have tracked down the SUV in the July 2012 double homicide. It was a rental. Guess who rented it.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Finally some good news for Aaron Hernandez. In a statement released earlier today, Burt Reynolds named Hernandez the starting tight end for the Mean Machine and said Hernandez would be in the lineup for the upcoming game against The Guards.

Re: The 2013 New England Patriots

Is it more surprising that Hernandez was in a bar brawl while he was at Florida, or that Tebow was even in a bar?
