Contador and Schleck were pretty stupid today especially Schleck were pretty stupid today. They let both Menchov and Sanchez gain time on them. If Schleck ends up off the podium after they clean his clock in the TT he will regret it.
I don't know. I think the only way Schleck can win is if Contador has a major meltdown. If Contador is forced to respect Sanchez and Menchov it could lead to a mistake. As it is, I don't think Schleck is a strong as he thinks he is. Hope I'm wrong though.
Interesting and hyper-tactical stage! Chapeau to Riblon!
Anyone think Samu will try to escape on the technical decent from Bales? It suits him and not Menchov...
Anyone read LeMond's latest claims? Seems to me like he should let himself fade into history at this point.

I'm just hoping for my fantasy team Menchov and Gesink find their way down that mountain.
Find their way down the mountain...while staying on the road, that is.
We don't want them to pull a Frank Schleck. What is it with those Schleck bros? They can climb like the wind, but can't descend worth a darn.
That's why I don't see why Andy Schleck was hopeful about today's stage. Even if he gets a gap on everyone, they are going to pull a bunch back on the way down.
Is Contador seriously attacking when Schleck dropped his chain?
That's not very cool.
So much for Schleck gaining time today like he said he wanted to do.
Now he just burned a ton of energy trying to bridge up to the Contador group again.
Hey he attacked his own teammate last year...
Totally agree. Say what you want about Armstrong's off-course words, actions, antics, and decisions, he never would have done that to the yellow jersey holder on the road.Voeckler wins! Great win for him, he kept that gap nicely up the climb.
Contador looks like he will take over yellow, as his group struggles to stay with Sanchez on the descent.
What a weak way to take over the race lead.
Contador in yellow.
Weak.

Agree, what's the cycling equivalent of a fastball behind the head?
Schleck slipped his chain in the process of escaping the group of overall contenders near the top of the Porte de Balès, and Contador ignored one of the unwritten rules of cycling etiquette by responding and attacking the yellow jersey in his moment of difficulty.
Rather than waiting for the Luxembourger, Contador blasted clear with Denis Menchov (Rabobank) and Samuel Sanchez (Euskaltel-Euskadi) while Schleck gave desperate pursuit on the descent to the finish. Contador finished at 2:50 behind Voeckler, while Schleck reached the line at 3:29.
The incident will likely turn into one of the great debates surrounding this Tour de France, much like in 2003 when Lance Armstrong crashed on the climb to Luz Ardiden when a spectator's musette caught his bars. Back then, Jan Ullrich waited for him, but was it fair for Contador to continue his attack while Schleck was stopped with a dropped chain?
"It's not up to me to decide if it was fair or not, but I wouldn't have raced like that," said a seething Schleck after the finish, having already surrendered his yellow jersey. "My belly is so full of anger right now ... I'm going to want to get my revenge."
Why is no one complaining about Sanchez or Menchov going also? It seemed like Contador was going to sit back a bit but the other two pushed on so he went with them.
I don't think Menchov/Sanchez are at as much fault as Contador. Contador attacked right when the chain dropped, while Menchov and Sanchez had to go around Schleck just to keep up with Contador. I think if Contador would have sat up, those two would have as well.
