Heh. Hokydad has disappeared as his predictions have all gone down the toilet.

It would be inappropriate to share that information as a screen shot would also show who posted the rep. Those people may wish to remain anonymous to avoid the rep assault from the BC babies.
you make me side with BC fans on how annoying you are, therefore I don't like you even more.

BU and BC fans can disagree and not get along with each other just fine without you here. You are simply uniting BU and BC on a single front against you. Stop that. Bad!

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Any news on Colby Cohen?

Talked to Parker today. Still won't call it anything more than a dreaded "lower-body injury," but he did downgrade him to doubtful for Monday.

Saw Colby walking around -- looked fine to me. No casts or boots or anything, for what that's worth.

My guess –– and it is a total guess –– is that we're looking at a tweak of the hip injury that bothered him through the first half. Working on finding someone to confirm that but not having much luck.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Hopefully he gets back on Monday.

BC senior captain Matt Price went down with an injury last night, still haven't heard anything on him. I'm hoping it was just precautionary as the game was very much over when he got hurt. (i.e., it happened after the puck dropped to start the game)

without colby, our powerplay takes a huge hit, and rosen hasn't shown to be a suitable replacement on D. would be a rough go for us without him.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Plus who would score the inevitable PP goal on a bad call shortly after a BC disallowed goal? :D

if history has taught us anything, that would come from the group of

ryan santana
sean escobedo
ben rosen
justin courtnall
or
victor saponari

;)

Question for everyone: When you hear the name "Patch Alber," who do you think of first -- Patch Adams or Patches O'Houlihan?

I haven't seen a PP go to guy like Colby in like, well, never. He has radar on his shot and if I were an opposing defenseman or goalie I would think 4 times about stepping in front to block that rocket. In regards to rosen, in fairness, the rookie as only seen limited time in the few games he's been in and most of his talent is supposed to be offensive and PP, which obviously he has not gotten to show anyone yet. Hopefully Cohen can play in the game, but from what I am gathering that is very unlikley. Any updated news on him today?

P.S. my hero is courtnall in OT!:D

Bonino's shot is just as hard if not harder.

Then again, neither can compare to Eddie Caron.

Re: The 2010 Beanpot: Featuring One Team Under Consideration

Yeah, especially because even if you block it, it can still go in, just ask Kevin Roeder.:p

Too True! Perhaps when he winds up, they should just blow the whistle and take the puck to center ice for a face off!
