Fuel for the fire:

Phil Kessel: 4 games 2 goals, 2 assists

David Krejci: 16 games 1 goal, 4 assists

Just sayin'

Marc Savard's agent is sitting back and chuckling watching the last few weeks unfold. Guy's due to make some big money next year. I hope it's in Boston.

Is there another pro hockey team in Boston I don't know about?

I really hope that the Wild keep Owen Nolan around.

His facial hair is deplorable. That kind of styling is generally only acceptable on a lady's nether region.

True, but I can't blame anyone for not telling him that to his face.

The rest of the Wild are growing moustaches. Even the refs are giving Cal Clutterbuck crap for his.

Re: The 2009-10 NHL regular season thread: Slightly less meaningless hockey

Maybe they should try winning games instead.

Well, they have won four of their last six and even won two in a row on the road, but last nights crapshow in the third kind of ruined that.

Baby steps.

Eric Boulton laughs at you.

So yeah, about Patrice Bergeron's broken stick....

Re: The 2009-10 NHL regular season thread: Slightly less meaningless hockey

John Scott has now scored a goal in the NHL. The Wild have gotten a goal from John Scott and 2 from Robbie Earl today. w.t.f.

Ladies and gentlemen, stock up on canned goods and build a shelter.

John Scott has scored a goal.

The real sign of the apocalypse will be when Boogaard scores a goal. And I have a feeling he's gonna get it soon...

Ridiculous, should we go back to the last page to find your statements on Malkin or would you rather just not go there? I'd suggest the latter.

Go ahead and find them, I know what I said. The Bruins are more effected by losing Savard then the Penguins are losing Malkin. B's would have won if Patrice's stick didn't break. These statements aren't hard to understand.

The Penguins offensive performance without Malkin disagrees completely with your statements. Malkin in the lineup turns that game into a shootout. Malkin NOT in the lineup means toothless Pens offense.

So, again, do you want to have this stupid go-round?

Are we really going to base this off of that one game? Using your logic I could argue that having Savard and Lucic in the lineup would give the Bruins an extra goal that gives them the win.
