So why is it that conservatives want to wrap themselves in the US Constitution until they disagree with it? 'Protect' marriage amendment five years ago. Now it appears they want to change it as soon as they're done reading it. The 14th Amendment.

Don't amendments change the Constitution, even assuming the rest of your argument is correct? :confused: I thought that's what "amend" means.

Democratic czars are Communists, Socialists and Fascists (details, shmetails). They are from the Blame America First crowd who believe in Pravda, the KGB and Mom's Borscht.

Isn't it a good thing that Congress isn't passing new laws? (Smaller government, and all that.) :p

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

She's known for making shocking statements; they aren't saying that was one.

Edit: At least I hope they aren't...it doesn't seem that outrageous to me...

Anyways, in more exciting "news" there's an alleged scandal involving Republican Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack. Involves a billionaire campaign donor and some breast licking?

Edit: I'm shocked, SHOCKED I say, to learn it was those brilliant journalists over at Fox News. The anchor asked a reporter who was at the scene, "Had she done anything to outrage people?" Because shooting people is justified if they do something you don't like. :rolleyes:

Regardless, this is a terrible series of events that are unfolding. 12 people shot...

CNN reporting 15 people shot, six dead...
