My greater concern is that my computer is so old that it lacks the absolute to update web browsers. When trying to update Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, my computer fails with an alert that the computer lacks the processing power to complete the updates. And it turns out that many sites, especially those I need, require browsers updated to version X.x in order for pages to load correctly.

The last time I bought a personal laptop, in hindsight I probably should've bought a Surface Pro. I ended up with a custom Sager with way more Nvidia GPU than I need these days, because at the time MS Flightsim 2020 had been announced and I had thought I was going to get back into playing that. 5 years later, it sits installed and is never played. I should've just started putting that money towards an actual pilot's license.

They're dropping a new version next year. Logged a ton of hours in it via XBox SeriesX and Game Pass Ultimate.

my new laptop (which is a touch screen) has green squiggly lines all over pics and videos. I just opened it yesterday

Now I have a Lenovo slim. More storage space and better processor for $300 less.

The new PCs my company issues us are Lenovo. We’ve had way too many issues with the last two rounds of HPs.

Only had one major issue with HP's zbook lineup since I started using them about 12 years ago. Still not sure if that was a mobo issue or an HP dock issue.

Over the weekend I installed Ubuntu on a Virtual Box on my Windows PC. Everything works perfectly. I am over the moon. Now to blow the dust off my shell skills and learn Python.

After making Amy first personal laptop purchase in about 12 years or so. Waiting in the cashier line at Microcenter is a very pungent experience. So much weed.

I just bought a Lenovo IdeaPad 5. It has the hybrid laptop/touchscreen, which my wife wanted. I don’t see the need for the touchscreen, but I just went with it.
