Re: Sweet Release: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread Part I

Here's my question for next year: am I allowed to call an 11th-place finish, an improvement?

Well, UAA will have two frosh goalies and no Clark. So I don't see us doing any worse than 11th. :p

Seriously though, I think anything from 7th-12th will be possible. There's even more parity in the league now that we've added two teams. Our results are going to depend on the whole team stepping up to the plate, including all the seniors, both goalies, and a couple freshmen.

According to this rule from the IM handbook, Witt, Bunger, and Dorito shouldn't be allowed to play floor hockey, right?

Recruiting scandal time!

Say bye-bye to all your wins. Too bad you don't have any scholarships to lose.

Would you really count what they do for the school as playing hockey. And they definitely aren't winning any kind of awards. I'm not all that sure anybody on that team should be considered a varsity athlete.

Scott was listed at 6'8" while at Tech. I thought perhaps he grew an inch due to improved diet. but he said in an interview that he always was 6'9', but early on someone had told him hockey players couldn't be over 6'8", hence he was that.

Cam would be fun to have back. there would be some happiness in the MacD household, that's for sure.

Note: being PoTY is not an honor.

Re: Sweet Release: Michigan Tech Offseason Thread Part I

Are Twitch and BPH honorable?

As board personas? I think they are similar to their real life personas.

To me, PoTY is

1. A *******
2. A pretend *******
3. Doesn't know crap about anything, but pretends he does
4. Any of the above/all of the above.

huh you can't say jack bag but you can still say cum guzzling whore.

BPH is pretty much history (hah, pun.)

I on the other hand am in a dead heat for second in my group, which would make me eligible for a possible wild card spot. (The three group winners and the two second place finishers with the highest vote counts advance.) I have a puncher's chance of ending up in the Final Five.
