Not as detailed as Remys annual, but i put a lot of work into this

1) Geneseo-good
2) Oswego-good
3) Plattsburgh-good
4) Buff State-pretty good
5) Potsdam-can be good
6) Fredonia-not as good
7) Cortland-sucks
8) Brockport-sucks
9) Morrisvile-sucks more

It looks in the early going that Plattsburgh's biggest challenges will be goaltending, staying out of the penalty box, and connecting on that first pass exiting their zone. They are the same questions I seemed to have with last year's team. Time will tell...

Goaltending still worries me with this Plattsburgh team. Also, when was the last time Emery carried four goaltenders?

I think we should be concerned again about the defensive zone turnovers. Watching Saturday against St. Mikes was like watching last year all over. Not just the turnovers either. Still pre-season but, not much time to work on the same thing that sunk us last season

With the news he is retiring after the season breaking he probably doesnt care any more or isn't even paying enough attention to notice there are four of them.

I’m not saying you’re right; I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just interested to know which journalist allegedly “broke” this story. I haven’t seen that published anywhere.

So you've said nothing at all. Besides, you know it's true anyway so there's no need to play the usual games. You don't need some guy with a press card tucked in his hat to clack it out months after everyone already knows. Secrets are fun and make people feel important and all but it's time to step out of the dark ages and operate in the real world.

I find it interesting there are posts claiming a highly decorated coach like Emery is retiring at the end of the year and no one here is commenting on it. If someone posted Coghlin, Gosek, etc., were retiring there would certainly be talk I would have to think.

Because that's all it is right now...talk. Someone like Emery is NOT going to retire without all the fanfare/press conferences.

I'm sure that is the case, but you are now the second Plattsburgh fan to obliquely reply to this topic and neither one of you have issued a denial. Even the non-denial denials have been tepid.

30+ years, mediocre records at best and little ones in the middle of their youth hockey careers....it wouldn't shock me one bit. It's been tossed around for a few years now. But just as it wouldn't surprise me, I'm not going to assume anything until I see it in writing. I dont see Emery doing a Christine Ford and just disappearing into the night with not even a peep....
