Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

**sound of hand smacking forehead** Groucho!!!!

The only thing that pops into my mind is "All Dogs go to Heaven"

We need a little Groucho every so often to offset the usual daily depression. As far as the quote, I keep thinking a dog movie also. Nothing coming to me though.

Hint 1: The soundtrack features a Paul McCartney song of the same name...

Thanks for the hint-does nothing for me but Jenny says it is a Tom Cruise movie she saw one time a few years ago. I am lost but she is still trying to recall the name.

If Jenny can't place it, then I'm sol. :)

She only remembers that is was a movie he made with a costar that he was rumored to be involved with offscreen-but is not 100% sure.

Hint 2: It was a 2001 remake of a 1997 Spanish film, Abre los Ojos.

Jen and I figured if we went out and had a nice Sushi dinner and a few drinks and sat and thought we could come up with the answer. We had a blast-but no answer came. We know enough to know we don't know. But she is sure Tom Cruse was in it.

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Okay, try this:

"Hey, how much would you charge me to haunt a house?"

Pack Up Your Troubles (Laurel and Hardy)-love hem when thy are in my era-and the response shold be "How Many Rooms? let me think about a new one for a few.

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Ok here goes-from a rather tense movie

"Most of them died instantly, but a few had time to go quietly nuts"

The line was delivered to an all-time Hollywood baddie, Charles Middleton, who of course attained immortality as Ming the Mercilous.

"Andromeda Strain." Great premise, wonderful set and execution. One time while visiting Phoenix, I ran into James Olson at Sky Harbor, didn't hassle him but was tempted.

Here we go:

"They catch us now, they gonna hang us!"

Lead actor in this whimsical piece was a major star to was playing against type (why am I giving clues? Jenny once got one from the ER!)

The Flim Flam Man (Jenny got this before I could even start to think)

"That's funny. I got an idea on top of a bus one time. Got me six years"
(this is a oldie but another clasic)
