Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

If we were right-try this one-

"It only took me one night to realize that if brains were dynamite, you couldn't even blow your nose"
This is from American Graffiti; my dad LOVES this movie and I watched it several times growing up.

"Hush little baby, don't you cry. When Peter gets home, I'm gonna punch him in the eye."

This one is eating at me-I have heard this line for sure-I just can't place it in a movie.

3 Men and a Baby

"Forgiveness is between them and god. It's my job to arrange the meeting."

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Hint time I guess.

The lead actor has been in several very good movies over the years.

Think of a gangster from Philly.

Jenny says this is from "Man On Fire" (and Christopher Walken does play a role in the movie although he isnt the star). I wasn't sure but she is pretty sure so we await your answer.

Jenny is correct. It has been a while since I have seen the movie and I guess I forgot Walken was in that movie. Your turn.

After 35 years I have learned never to doubt her-she is a big Christopher Walken fan. OK next one could b e tough because it is a short quote-try this-

"A naked American man stole my balloons."

Meatballs (the first one)

"Gin!... I knew there was something wrong with that guy. I never met a gin drinker yet that you could trust"

"Anatomy of a Murder." Was this the last line of dialogue? Arthur O'Connell delivers it when he and Jimmy Stewart realize their client has blown town and stiffed them on their fee. I actually met Kathryn Crosby once, she was a delight.

Try this:

"Colonel says you need a dead shot, mister."
"Yes. Ever use a grenade rifle?"
"Pick my teeth with it."

Beast From 20,000 Fathoms-that was just on TCM this week. They had all the schlock horrow ovies from the 50's on in one night and yes, I stayed up to watch all of them (It Came From Beneath the Sea, Them-all were on in sequence)
Give me a few to come up with a new one

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Try this-

"You know, I'd buy you a parachute if I knew it wouldn't open."

Re: Stump the USCHO Movie Buff(Part III)

Hint-of course this is from an oldie-and every once in a while we need a quote from this guy to lighten things up a little:)
