Dagnabit!!! Clark Gable says that, but all I can think of is "Pittsburgh" and that's not him, it's John Wayne (playing essentially an identical character).

Haven't got a clue. But it does sound like something Alvin York would have said. "Maw wants you, Alvin." Or maybe Davy Crockett

You are so warm:) -1960 movie and I tried to get the quote as close as I could-Lots of first rate stars in this movie so if no one gets it will give some cast members.

Wait a minute, "North to Alaska" was a 1960 film. Could that be it?

Next time I'll specify a film. When I said the quote sounded like something Davy Crockett would say I was referring to the Alamo. I guess that means I don't get the Rice-a-roni. :)

No but you were so warm-I knew that you were on to it. Jenny and I watch so many of these older films on TCM-that is where the majority of my quotes come from. The past month was great as they had 31 days of Oscar nominated films.

Agreed. It's my fault for not specifying the film. On the other hand, a reference to a Davy Crockett quote could only be the Duke, certainly not Fess Parker. :D
