I'd have said Marx brothers, but I'm pretty sure I've never heard the quote.

Nope-although I can see how it would sound Marxian. This is an Abbott and Costello exchange from one of their more famous movies in a series.

I love Abbott & Costello watched most of their movies growing up, favorites were In the Navy, A&B in Hollywood and in the Foreign Legion and the one with Boris Karloff can't remember the name right now.

actor 1: Do you have any idea how fast you were going?

actor 2: Funny enough I was just talking to my friend about that. Our speedometer has melted so it is hard to see with any degree of accuracy excactly how fast we were going.

Can't believe no one has gotten this one yet- a real campy movie. Hint- This movie has one star in common with Robocop.
