I have often thought that we could use his speed on the PK. I think he was the fastest skater on the team last year.

We did see him at the Harvard game with his family.....so hopefully that is a good sign that he is still interested, following and supporting the team and that perhaps he will be back.

Mike Hurlbut is going to be inducted into the Rochester Amerk's Hall of Fame.

Drew Smolcynski tweeted today and made it sound as though he is back in the lineup tonight, good to see.

Also, SLU is one of 3 teams with 8 goals in the final minute of a period this season. Never would have guessed we are tied for the lead in that stat.

Well? ... We looked awful in that 1st period, Parks bailed us out a few times there or it would be much worse than 1-0. Looks like a lot of rust from the layoff, we should count our blessings it's only 1-0

It's now 3-0 UVM latter portion of the 2nd period. We look AWFUL! None of the areas we needed improvement in have improved (penalty kill, defense, goaltending)! In fact, we don't even look like the same offensive team at all, as if we have taken a step back! Hopefully this isn't a sign of things to come! If we continue to play like this, we will easily be a 20 loss team and swept in the 1st round :eek::confused:

Well, Coach Carvel took a timeout shortly after UVM made it 3-0 near the end of the 2nd and the guys looked like a completely different team for the remainder of the period. We scored 2 quick goals and now it's 3-2 UVM after 2. Right back in it! Jekyll and Hyde much?
