Jimmy has been an amazing goalie, and has the career numbers to be picked... but has Team USA's staff seen him at all this season? Guy couldn't get on a roll if he fell into a bakery.

It's a team (lack of) effort in front of him when the forwards can't score and the defensemen are practically sabotaging everything (Smith and Quincy); but he's let a few stinkers in that he should have saved.

I would rather see Jimmy not picked and given the two weeks to heal whatever nagging injury he's nursing and refusing to admit about.

That's my thinking, will Quick and Howard actually be able to play?

I'm thinking Ben Bishop should at least get a look before they pick Howard.

Just real proud of Emery Lehman, a 17-year old senior at my old high school who made the long course speed skating squad. If he sticks with it, he should be a real beast the next time around.

Jealous. LOVE short track speed skating. Got to see it live years ago in Marquette during the World Cup trials. Amazing how much speed they build up at the end.

NBCSN is showing Olympic qualifying in men's curling -- USA scored 5 in the 8th end to take a 7-3 lead over the Czechs. Winner to Sochi.

USA wins 7-5 and is going to Mother Russia!
