SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Not counting them out in the slightest but SNC is definitely the favorites right now. Adrian has a darn good team, I witnessed it last year in Utica and they return almost everyone from that team.

Agreed, I was cringing when I saw Adrian's roster with all the standouts from last years semifinalthat I witnessed. On top of that intimidating roster they added one of Umass Boston's top scorers, Ryan Cusin. At that moment I thought the top two teams might be from out west this year and so far I believe the play has backed that up. Two fantastic teams that should be fun to follow down the stretch.

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

That was a bit of a rough one against MSOE. Thankfully not a conference game.

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Last time SNC was undefeated at break was the 2014-15 season. Tomorrow's big matchup will go a long way towards determining whether this season will end like that one.

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Barring some major upsets down the stretch, SNC will fail to lock down the #1 seed for the Harris Cup for the fourth straight season. It comes down to beating the teams you should beat, and Adrian seems to be the only team that does that consistently.

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Northland's conduct last night at the CCC was appalling. The slew foot of Le Sage should result in extra discipline from the league. I'm sure that disgusting display is condoned by their obnoxious boorish coach, whose F-bombs could be heard throughout the arena all night.

No one, and I mean no one does slewfooting better then Adrian. Northland should be ashamed for even trying that move.

Unfortunately, that’s often what happens when you play teams with basically no prospects of post season play late in the season.

Hope LeSage is ok. Tim Derozier was claiming to have seen blood when LeSage was holding his wrist. Hopefully this was not a compound wrist fracture...

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

From Dan Lukes: SNC has only allowed one PP goal in their last 12 games.

It's hard to believe that they are 8-4 on that stretch.

SNC has allowed just two total goals in last three games....starting to get back on track and playing Green Knight hockey...

Re: SNC 2017-18 Season Thread

Let's see if we can establish a pattern:

- 2008: NE loses in the Super Bowl. SNC wins the NCAA title in Lake Placid.

- 2012: NE loses in the Super Bowl. SNC wins the NCAA title in Lake Placid.

- 2018: NE loses in the Super Bowl. To be continued in Lake Placid.
