I heard the real reason for the new rink was they ran out of space to put all their banners.

They had the same issue after the 2011 season and just combined banners/made them smaller. I love the story about how Coghlin ordered the biggest banner possible after their first conference title because he had no idea if they would ever win another.

Hearing a report that a fourth ice sheet is planned to be added to the CCC complex.
The SNC men will play their home games on the new sheet.
No timeline has been announced for this addition.

I talked to the folks at the CCC last week. Nothing new on the timeline for when a decision will be made.
