Gosh, I hope you are right about the bolded portion of your post. It's been awhile since I've heard Mariucci really get rockin'. Those of us faithfuls make noise even when it isn't completely full, but I want a packed house this weekend. No excuses!!

those are the seasons that UND sucked so hard, they have been erased from the UND record books, kind of like Trotsky from all pictures with Stalin.

I know UND fans always say junk like this, but you do realize the early days of hockey, it wasn't "The official Varsity team of Harvard versus the Official Varsity team of Yale" playing a college hockey game, it was a team of boys from Harvard played a team of boys from Yale, and everybody had a great time. For some reason, most schools love the earliest history of their school and athletics, but UND hates it, probably because they hadn't yet figured out how to get overage Canadians across the border to play for them.

The fact remains that the University of North Dakota did not field a hockey team until 1946. It really is as simple as that.
