Got a little rough at the end when it sunk in for the Sux that they had their arse handed to them.

Imagine if Meuer had shot that puck with .2 to go.

Knowing him, I thought that he just might.

It would have been Water Bottle Part 2.

Still don't know how the experts ranked Nodak so high coming into the season with all the losses they had, especially up front. I know people talk about "reloading" vs "rebuilding", but it just seemed that they lost too much to truly be able to "reload". Maybe things get turned around, but I wouldn't hold my breath....

oh man, that woulda been funny (from a fan perspective)...c'mon Keegan you missed a great opportunity for WB2;)

good game though for real, the kids stepped up tonight for sure.

Was nice to have the schedule lighten up after the meat grinder that was NMU and Tech.

Watching Kristo, who I still remember fondly from the WJC a couple of years ago, I thought about Steppan and how good/dominant he would be if he were still here. :(

One of my sons was listening to the game as he intently carved his pumkin last night and burts out, "Crisco, he's a tub of lard". I just about had a seizure from laughing so hard. I said to him, "his name isn't Crisco, it's Kristo" and his reply was "well, he's still a tub of lard."

What a surprising game last night. I was most encouraged by a number of good tape to tape breakout sequences. And Petersen's back door pad save was the best I've seen from a UW tender in years.

Wisconsin Hockey: Frying sue in lard.

You. You post pictures of friends and family on this site and expect me to even wanna talk to you? I'll bet you're a slimey quick little bugger what's hard to catch.

Tonight them oversized gophers are going to learn a lesson or two from their betters. Wagon's fixed and I'll be there to see it too--just like we been talking about all summer--teaching them uppity, fancy pants, metrosecsual State Street types how to play a man's game.

btw I really like PB as an announcer, but when did he get to be so . . . large? Or haven't I been paying attention.

What's to hate with this Badger team? They're soft, cowardly, and slow, and they're probably boring people besides. And don't take anything from last night. That was just the setup--tonight's the sting. By the end of the season, the Sioux will probably have 5 or 6 games to give the Badgers anyway, so why not have a little fun with them first. Not going to be fun getting spanked by Spartans and Sioux at the same time.

soft? UW's smallest player would take Eades to the woodshed and piledrive Hakstol just cause he perpetually has that "dumbfounded" look on his face. oh yeah, then he'd lace em up and score 5 goals vs. the susie's.
