Sioux versus Badgers... Is Wisconsin really that bad?

Re: Sioux versus Badgers... Is Wisconsin really that bad?

I thought it was genius to allow Rumpel to make all the plays.

I also liked our 5 goals on 13 shots. Very little wasted effort and I know that efficiency is important to Eaves.

Pretty obvious that Hakstol was outcoached tonight!

Credit the Badgers for burying shots when they had them. Dell had no chance on some of those.

What an amazing win Saturday. I can't remember the last time UW stole a game when they were outshot so handily.

I think UW and the sue will easily be able to schedule at least a 2 game series every year once the new conferences fire up. It's also not out of the question that they could do 4 games a year, both teams will have plenty of room in their schedules and these are marque home series that should get great attendance.

While I hope they can do something to keep the series alive, keep in mind that at this point it looks like the National will have 28 conference games, leaving only 6 up for non-conference play (obviously, they may switch the schedule around a bit to allow for more non-conference games). We'll see what happens though. I always loved making the trip to Madison when I was in college.

The 6 n/c games could make it tough, I was thinking in terms of the initial little 6 having just 6 teams. 2 game at the most will be likely. I doubt they would cut back on conference games to allow for more n/c games, though the sue surely will want to play the BADgers and rodents annually.
