A few big reasons I generally don't go for cis men:

A. I like girls. I mean, have you seen girls?

B. The men who approach me? They're ones who would have sex with a bagel if it were warm enough.

A. I have and yes.

B. Can confirm, but needs cream cheese.

And with enough of these messages filling my inbox on dating apps, I grew especially weary of trying to separate wheat from chaff.

I think this is still fallout from the Madonna/Whore dichotomy, and so it tends to follow Christianity around. The idea seems to be, "I didn't treat you like dirt therefore I'm elevating you therefore you should reward me for my wokeness." Other than 20-something guys who are still getting their sh-t together, guys who have this mindset seem to come out of that sheltered, corn-fed ideology which still views women as Special. Just, instead of Special Bad, now they're Special Good. They can't seem to wrap their minds around the fact that women are just ordinary human beings, as full of crap as anyone else, and just treat them as people, no better or worse. The ones who are kind are worth cherishing and fighting for, and the ones who are mean should be shunned. Just like men.

TBH, the women who come off that conveyor belt also seem to suffer from the same malaise, they just often turn it against themselves, which may help explain how conservative men ever get laid consensually -- they find low self-esteem women who expect either a pedestal or a kick in the head.

Jesus, just nuke the farms. We can eat Twizzlers. We'll work it out.

One day, someone's going to see me in the parking lot of a Costco, eating an entire rotisserie chicken with my bare hands and think "yep, that's her, she's the one."
