Twitter rumor flying the Alex Petan will sign with the Minnesota Wild and report to Iowa for the rest of the season.
AND become a better two way player. I know it's enticing but at the end of the day it's most likely the ECHL.He needs to improve skating, he has all the other tools.
I didn't figure it would take long for the leading scorer to find a new team.Twitter rumor flying the Alex Petan will sign with the Minnesota Wild and report to Iowa for the rest of the season.
Blake did make his debut 3/24 and got his first point (assist) tonight vs Carolina in his third game. Seems to be getting reasonable time for a 4th liner. Played 16 minutes tonight.FYI - Blake Pietila has been called up to the big Devils. He will be #56 if he sees game time.
It would all depend on what those changes are MS. I do think the North Star Cup is here to stay as the agreement at least gives the other Minny schools the opportunity to see the Gophers in their barns once in awhile. There are a lot of rumors floating around. Some drastic, some fairly simple. It will be very interesting to see what the rest of the landscape looks like when Notre Dame plays its first Big Ten game. But with everything that's floating around, the possibilities are endless.Just thinking out loud here, but lets say there are further conference changes that occur after this next year. My questions would be: Does this mean more or less travel for us? Does this mean more or less conference games?, If there are the same number, would the 'northstar cup go away and if so, can we get games with the Minnesota schools( Duluth, etc) because of that? Will any of this affect recruiting? And if so , how?

Dumbass??? I've got 350,000 miles of college and minor pro hockey team travel (including 10 Alaska trips). I've even been responsible for booking team travel for two teams. What's your experience?
