SCSU Huskies 2010 Off-Season Thread

No home and home series with the goofers in October 2010. Instead, both games, during SCSU's Homecoming, will be played in Minneapolis. In fact, goofers will not play at the NHC during the 2010-2011 regular season.

What's up with that?:confused:

Last I saw, it was gonna be a h/h with both the Gophers and Mankato, where do you have the new schedule that says they're both away?

It does make sense, it'll make things easier now that you only play two teams four times to do a full series so it stays the same as the rest of the schedule. Home and homes are probably done with everyone except DU and CC. Maybe they'll let us do them with Mankato or the U during our four game years. I know its probably wrong, but on a greedy, personal level, I'm glad. Less travel to see all four games over two seasons.

We all knew this was coming with BSU and UNO coming in. I really could careless that we don't get them at home, but I know some people live for those two games every year.:rolleyes: I guess we won't have to deal with the bandwagon fans this year since they only show up to the Goofer games.:)

I realize Husky fans don't have much experience with the degrees of losing in the NCAAs since it's been nothing but losing until this year, but the Yale loss wasn't as bad as being arguably the best team in the nation and losing to a crappy autobid. I would love to see some Yale jerseys, though. It'd be sweet, and funny since the Sioux have ended the Gophers' season 3 of the last 6 years. Check out my Yale jersey... BURN! Ouch.

Well then brace yourself for the bandwagoners in 2011-2012 since both regular season series with the goofers will be played at the NHC (or the NHEC during this time period). :eek:

Still no word as to the reason for changing the site of the game on Friday, October 22, 2010.

What does everyone say when we start talking about our great regular season record? Oh, I think it's something like "Well do something in the NCAAs and get back to me."
