The one thing I have learned through the latest SCOTUS and Orange Mans run through the Justice System is we have no rule of law.

Members of this court found that protesting outside their house was much more serious of an offense than Jan 6th.

Maybe we’ll be lucky enough for the world to play out like it does in the book Ministry of the Future. Federal gov refusing to govern what is needed? International vigilantes will take care of that

The one benefit of Trump has been that Democracy is an illusion. Is Biden still better than the binary alternative? Yes. Does not dismiss the fact that Democracy is just another way for the rich to protect themselves from being overrun by the public.
 
Power is more than voting, yes, but there are degrees of departure from democratic government. We have all the institutions to have a representative democracy. It's too bad we can't all agree, no matter our partisanship, to protect them. Before anything else, before left or right, I wish we had universal and aggressive defensive of the "form of republican government" the Constitution guarantees each state.

Too bad he won't because the Democrats still believe in democracy.
