I want to know how come Avenatti didn't demand that Grassley ask Kavanaugh about the "boofing" entry in that same yearbook. :eek:

Kavanaugh has gone from 'good for him to be stopped' to 'he must be stopped'. He's now gone angry and even worse, ideological.

CNN: Trump's nominee rebuked new allegations against him, saying they are a 'grotesque and obvious' political play. You have to wonder whether Kavanaugh can be a non-political, impartial justice in any capacity going forward.

Collins doesn't think Kavanaugh will repeal Roe... obviously she is being "misled" again.

I've mused a little bit at the irony of our title to this thread, and the fact that all of it has been spent discussing Kavanaugh. In my opinion, if Kavanaugh were to be confirmed (I view that likelihood as quite tiny at this point) there is a pretty decent chance he turns into another Thomas. Extremely bitter, refusing to speak from the bench.

Although living with a conservative lens, I believe Roberts puts the country and constitution first. I don't know who Kavanaugh was. But he has shown another side of himself and I now fear who he is or is becoming.

Funny how this super unconventional vetting process is working quite well.

Appealing Roe isn't the problem. They don't want Roe appealed. They want ambulance bay requirements, plan "B" pills off the shelf, no insurance subsidized by the government goes towards birth control, free Viagara, etc.

In effect a ban while still being able to complain about Roe. Win win.

Yeah this is way worse than when you and your cronies made up that Obama was a Muslim born in Kenya.

I can't wait for this vote. If this spirals anymore the odds for the Dems taking both house will definitely go up. Watching the fallout for all those that vote to confirm will be delicious.

The smarter play is to wait but the GOP wants the victory before the midterms. They will come on it.
