Scores and Highlights 09-10

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Does anyone have an update on UNH @ NU? Livestats died for me at the end of one w/ the Wildcats up 1-0 on the strength of a SH goal by Paton.

Fun game to watch. I think the 'Cats played a good game, and earned the W, but will have to pick it up a notch to get by the Huskies next round. Notwithstanding some of the "smacktexting" I was exposed to today, I thought the game was called evenly. The officials weren't particularly exuberant with their whistles and let the girls play.

K. Kehoe played very well today - really set the pace for NU, and Schelling is just plain hard to beat. Too bad about the live stats, because with that nice new jumbotron, if we miss a play or want to see it, we just had to look up:)

Another goalie and UNH might have scored 6. A couple beauty saves, including one toe save on Paton in the 1st.

That said, UNH also misfired on a couple golden chances, including Horn putting a rebound of her own shot wide of the open left side in the 3rd.

Good to see Skudder back in action.

Jennifer Harss has kept the Bulldogs in the game with the 29 saves so far.

UMD's Jessica Wong cuts the lead on the power play to 2-1 Badgers with 4:26 to go in regulation.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Carolyne Prevost seals the deal, scoring the empty-net goal with 5 seconds left for a 3-1 Badger win. Final shots were 43-14 for Wisconsin.

The two teams get a day off tomorrow due to a UW men's bball-men's hockey doubleheader at the Kohl Center, and will play the second game on Sunday afternoon.

Re: Scores and Highlights 09-10

Does anybody know if there's a delay to the start of the NU-BC game? If not, is anybody able to get any live stats on either gametracker or hockeyeastonline?
