We used methylene chloride in half a dozen lab experiments in college. Hell, I saw someone get sprayed in the face with it. People need to realize that chemicals like this are dangerous and if you don’t understand the safety warnings, don’t use the product. Almost no chemicals similar to methylene chloride are dangerous to use indoors in anything over a small amount.

Are we going to pull everything potentially dangerous from shelves because people are willfully ignorant of safety warnings? I feel for the families but this is absurd.

So California's labeling law says that coffee must be labeled carcinogenic.

I'm not worried about coffee giving me cancer, because I'm not a lab rat exposed to high levels of acrylamide.

My Illinois license plate and drivers license grants me be the ability to drive overly aggressive, speed at 30+ MPH the posted expressway speed limit (unless stuck in the slog of bumper-to-bumper traffic), perform excessive lane changes, tailgate, and act like I own the county I'm driving through.

All in the name of visiting Illinois' two largest state parks on any given weekend: Wisconsin and Michigan. :D




As a native Michigander, I get a kick out of being judged as "one of those FIBs" when I go home to visit family and locals don't recognize me.
