The March of the Morons sets back American science, again.

It’s a mission that we’ve been counting on for years, because it will help us to better understand dark matter and dark energy, and will help us learn about planets around other stars—some of the things we identified as the most important questions. To suddenly cut WFIRST’s budget to zero would not just disappoint us, but totally negate years and years of planning, and retroactively waste a massive amount of time (and, obviously, taxpayer money). If NASA is going to be investing in science, it should at least be taking into account what scientists deem as the Most Important Questions.

Some pretty compelling logic there.

This, though: After Bluexit, will Blue America's liberal immigration policies allow true blue believers to come home to where they belong? Without it being refugee camps in New Jersey.

Did you pen that ode to economic secession? It may actually work, you know. Think of it as tossing your 30 year old kid out of the basement to make his/her own way.

Some may actually learn to make a go of life without depending on Mommy and Daddy's wallet.

And those in blue? Well two things may happen. First, the people ejected from the basement will move into your basement, thereby sucking more $ from those writing checks to support the basement dwellers.

Second, the check writers will get tired of writing checks and move to a place where they write smaller checks. In the end, things will balance out.

Which part of were all supporting Mississippi didn't you get? Which part of most Blue States have a net loss in Federal Taxes didn't you get?

But your best path in to to turn WI back to blue, dammit! Madison belongs in the civilized world. I assume most of the rest of the state can be left to the slavers.

Even if we shed Mississippi, we'd still be supporting them. It would just be with foreign aid, instead of domestic. :p

I've been thinking about retiring to a blue state. Maybe I should do it before Bluexit.

How do we make Bluexit happen?
