Full 2 minute 5x3 for bethel after a slashIng penalty. He definitely made contact with his stick but I dont think it was anywhere near hard enough to be a penalty.

There'll be 40 seconds of pp time after the second penalty ends.

3-1 bethel! 1:40 left on the major still

The NCAA made it a point of emphasis a few years ago that any hit from behind into the boards or net has to be a five minute major and ejection. It's up to the refs if it warrants a game misconduct or dq though.

River Falls/Superior update?

With a win or tie, the Thunderchickens would be a shoe-in IMHO to make the next poll.

Elmira will definitely be dropping out, Stout could...How many 0-2 teams are usually ranked? But then again, not many teams have played two games against St. Norbert either.

St. Norbert will probably jump all the way up into the top 3. They'll probably even garner a few #1 votes away from Plattsburgh and Neumann.

From Ann Arbor this evening:

US Under 18 team defeats Adrian 3-2 in a shootout.

Word of advice, although it had little to do with tonight's outcome: If you see a referee in your arena with the name of Rankin, you're going to want your torches and pitchforks nearby. This guy is horrid.

Pointers get on the board and bring it within one with 2:42 left in the game!

That U-18 team was good, and it was the real deal, not half of one roster and the bottom half of another. It was a helluva game. I've seen variations of the squads they bring to various schools, from Ferris to Michigan to Adrian. This is one of the best I've seen, if not the best.

I'm not dragging this into this thread any further. I've written something in the Adrian thread. We can discuss it there.

I dont think they were planning on getting blindsided for two losses to SNC this weekend either.

Great start to hockey season! Going to be a great year!

If I start the thread or am early enough to post on the first page, I list the games and edit it to update the scores, yes there is are multiple places to find the scores, but I like to have them on the forum and on the days page, I appreciate the potential to "spoil" the reading, but I enjoy the convenience, sorry.

My suggestion, start on page 2, you are unlikely to miss much about the games, and you can always go back to page 1, obviously I can’t speak for anyone else, but I promise I will not post final scores other than on page 1.

Fair enough, I am good with that. The worst case is to keep copying that first post into other parts of the thread, which happened one night.

Cool, I also hate spoilers, I have a Fantastic Four comic book collection of over 360 unique issues, I've spent over 25 years buying them, I have yet to read any of them because I don't have the complete set yet.

I took a shot from some guy called hockey guy (login) last week when I said that the Elmira win over Oswego was a shocker. Well, I stand by that. It was a shocker and Morrisville confirmed that more last night. When he has won multipe championships and is still invoved in the game at my level, bring it on! :) :) :)
