Speaking of a waste of space, did the "Devil's Advocate's" make an appearance in Northfield this weekend?

Seriously, why couldnt a team like <STRIKE>St. Norbert</STRIKE> Salem St. be the fourth team. It would have been a better showing by far.

I suppose there could be excuses - such as SNC played its backup goalie and it's an out of region game, so it doesn't matter much - but that wouldn't give appropriate credit to Salem St.

Their goalie played very well ... and the rest of the team made plays. SNC couldn't convert on a major, etc. SNC didn't play particularly poorly, but SS simply played better. Congrats on the win.

Penn State gets three in the third and will play UMass-Boston in the PAL Stovepipe Championship game tomorrow.

Probably a good thing. Keep them grounded with a meaningless game.

Perhaps. I'm thinking the players are lucky Superior and Michigan aren't frozen yet or they might be skating home. I don't think I'd want to be a player at practice Monday ... and hopefully they'll take it out on Scholastica...

So, I can finally add the Utica Memorial Auditorium to my D3 rink list!

If Plattsburgh can beat Norwich tonight, I don't see why Platty shouldn't be ranked #1 in the next poll...
