Saturday 11/28/09 -- Scores and Updates

Re: Saturday 11/28/09 -- Scores and Updates

After one period of play at the PAL Stovepipe tourney, it's 0-0 between host Southern New Hampshire and Penn State.

It seemed the Nittany Lions had the better of play (and the only power play), but both team had some chances. Southern N.H.'s goaltender seems to be playing very well so far.

Shots on goal: Penn State 10, Southern NH 4

Middlebury wins period 2. Overall great chances on both sides. Slight edge overall to Middlebury in regards to their play. 3rd should be exciting, which ever team comes out and takes control in the first 5-7 minutes will likely win..

Re: Saturday 11/28/09 -- Scores and Updates

Penn State takes a 1-0 lead at 14:01 of the second period...

And less than a minute later....Southern NH ties it up!

1-1 at 14:47 of the second.

Now it's 2-1, Penmen at 17:30 of the second.

One more goal - at 19:08, Penn State ties it 2-2 while both teams were skating a man down.

And that's how it ends in the second period: all tied up at 2!
