A slight delay here to replace the glass behind the Utica net. Still no score with 6:17 left in the first. Potsdam is about to begin their second power play. Utica had two power plays and they overlapped for a time for a two-man advantage, but to no avail.

Potsdam is starting their freshman goalie, Andy Groulx, for only the second time this year (he beat Skidmore), and is looking good so far.

(And I called Caveman.)

2nd period is underway in the Championship game of the Shootout.

Scott Schroeder has the lone Cadet goal. Shots 14-5 Wick.

Utica goes up 1-0 on Potsdam on a Scott Birnstill goal at 6:05 of the second.

A Potsdam player is now down and not moving in front of the Utica net. Can't see his number.

They're 1 game over .500, are down 1-0, and were getting outshot 11-2 both by a team that's .500 themselves.

Define "pretty good"

Potsdam ties it up against Utica, 1-1, on a goal by Kevin MacLellan at 9:55 while skating four aside.
