RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

Doc if you're in town again, I'd be happy to buy that second (third?) round then.

Would be overjoyed for Jenny and I to join you. If things go well we may even try to get back our section 6 seats that we held for 25 years. Always was a rather quiet section but the view was really pretty good from up in Row K.:)

I'll be bringing the noise to the library side of the building this weekend. Maybe I can teach some of these old dogs some new tricks. Or tricks that have been going on all along and they can't/won't listen to them.

I've always wanted to hang a sign in the rafters on the south side - "SHHHH! TOWNIES SLEEPING"

Hence why whenever I go, I've been bumming tickets off of students (but of course paying them for their generous service). Some of us just belong behind the penalty box. :D

Given how packed its going to be on Saturday night and how many tickets I had to get, I had to buy mine last week. I think I need someone to make a fake RPI ID for me so I can get tickets both cheaper and on the student side ahead of time. :D

Blog from Penticton Vees blog: an interview with Curtis Loik - a 16 yr. old self-described "power forward" who committed to the V's for next season.

He's got Doc D size and a scoring touch:

Curtis Loik - 6'0 190lbs.
Vancouver NW Giants (BC Major Midget HL)
Current Line for : 24-25-17-42

Given that nearly every kid on this year's Vs is headed to D1, lets get this kid to Troy !

Although I still have one, I can only pull off the PhD student excuse two more years..... unless they scan them now.

They don't scan them yet, but I would not be surprised to see an upgrade to the ticketing process when they rebuild the front end of HFH as part of the renovations. I would assume box office upgrades are part of the grand plan for the west end of the building.

Gee, a post that actually is about a possible recruit, even though there is no reason to assume that we are after him, besides for the fact that one of our recruits plays for Penticton. :)

I've been waiting for you to uncork a scolding to those posting non-recruit items on here.;)

Just doing my part to keep the thread count up...All I can do is draw attention to them..it's Monty and Seth's job to land them. :) One of these days -- sooner than later I think -- we're gonna land a Doc D sized recruit.

I keep waiting-we have done it on defense-but I would still like to see one big power forward (or perhaps 2):)

Odds are this kid will have 1/2 the NCAA after him...it'll be fun to watch if nothing else. My thought was that if Curadi spends next year in P'ton (I have a feeling he won't), he could strong arm the kid into coming to Troy. :)
