If we do land him as a recruit-it certainly will not be hard to come up with a nickname for him;)

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

I noticed Heisenberg has added Leboeuf to his list of Ontario recruits for 2010, maybe a sign something is coming......

No, it's a sign that I wrote to him that Leboeuf visited RPI. :D

The list is supposed to contain names of players that have gotten interest from D-I teams. So I write him on occasion when there is someone missing that I know about. Every once in a while he sends me links pertaining to RPI that he finds. I post these.

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

If Jacob Laliberte does arrive in Troy and Eric Ming and Guy Leboeuf come in as well maybe they could be called the Cornwall Connection. And yes I smell an article in one of the local newspapers using that nickname. Also is the Spink twins talk more wish list type talk or maybe we could actually land them? Im somewhat new on this whole follow a possible recruit thing so bare with me here while I learn the ropes.:D

There's no way to know for sure about the Spink twins - IIRC they are just 17 , so they have plenty of developing to do. Between them, JL, and Ming, there's no doubt that Monty has been drinking a lot of bad coffee in Cornwall, along with every other recruiter in the ECAC.

The Spink twins just turned 17 on New Year's Eve, but Ming is still 16. Do you know that we have an interest in the twins?

Well, Ming and the Spinks are from the same small town of Williamstown, Ontario. So im guessing they grew up playing hockey together. If we do land Ming, it might have an effect on which school the Spinks choose. Theres 5 forwards graduating next year (Halpern, Malchuk, Helfrich, Beauregard and Polacek) so there is room for them. Id like to see some more size up front but wouldnt complain if we did end up with the twins.
