Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

If we are intersted in Leboeuf that would increase the likelihood that Curadi won't show up for a year, since as an '89, Leboeuf can't play junior any more. Of course, if Brutlag stays up front there is an additional vacancy on defense.

He's got a lefthanded shot as well, something only Bergin and Zarbo have on the blueline at the moment. Quinn and Curadi also have lefthanded shots.

Do we need to read anything into the fact that JL did not accompany Ming and Leboeuf to HFH ?

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

On Saturday, the Olds Grizzlys lost to the Brooks Bandits 6-2. Matt Tinordi had a combination of a fighting major penalty, 10-minute misconduct, and instigator minor penalty. http://www.ajhl.ab.ca/leagues/hockey_boxScores.cfm?clientID=1705&leagueID=3464&gameID=714263

Tinordi's line is now 49-18-19-37-61.

With Tinordi, Burgdoerfer and Justin Smith up front, we may finally have some beef to park in front of the net next year. :D

Re: LaLiberte...hasn't he already been to HFH for his official visit? The reason he may not have been there last night with Ming and LeBoeuf is that there is only one 'paid for' visit allowed? And yes, Wicked, that was both of them...

We're putting the band back together.

We're on a mission from God.

Very little escapes our investigating reporters!

Good point Babo - JL was in town last year.

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

I might be getting ahead of myself here but if we do end up landing Ming, I wonder if that could give us an inside track at getting the Spink twins who are from the same hometown as Ming (Williamstown)
Sure couldn't hurt RH. If we land even half of these Cornwall kids, they're gonna start calling RPI - Cornwall South. :p ...they'll have to talk George Roll off of the ledge. :D

Re: RPI Recruiting II: Knowlton's Rangers (enlistments open)

I know very little about the recruiting process.
Would we pay for a visit by a player that was less than a 50/50 chance of coming to RPI?
Would a player come just for the visit?
