RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

I'd love to see Hayhurst and Fornaris on the same line in CR.

Not much size there. Perhaps they could form a St. Louis - Perrin line (one can dream, however remote the possibility) if they can find a solid skating big guy to play the other wing and create space.

I agree, but we do skate Laliberte and Neal together. There isn't much size there either. Better to test if it works in CR than at RPI. :D

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

Neal at 5'11" 190.....is much bigger than either Hayhurst or Fornaris though.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

FWIW, Dillon has acknowledged the USHL selection on his twitter account, Hayhurst and Rodriguez haven't, and Cho's account is protected.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part III)

FWIW, Tri-City, which chose Alec Dillon in the second round, chose goalie Blake Weyrick of USNDTP in the 10th round. He of course can't play next season for the USNTDP since he is aging out.

I assume that Shawn Knowlton drafted #205 by Chicago is a son of the Colonel.

Just came in....screen for the draft is blank, so, just going off the name, yes that's the Col.'s son (Alb. Acad.)......OK, screens back. Yes that is the COl.'s son.

Yes from AA (and Slingerlands).

My screen periodically goes black. I have been using two browsers to get around that.

Russ Bitely ‏@russbites 2h
Good pick by Lincoln in D-man Austin Cho (SCA). Don't think he got enough credit when on Marlies. Strome, Stephens, de Farais took it.....https://twitter.com/russbites

RPI commit Austin Cho selected by Lincoln. A good skater, smooth on his edges. Plays a safe and controlled game. A Soo Greyhound draft pick.
