Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part II)

I havent heard of any recruits being at HFH over the weekend. I didn't see anything obvious, but I got to BRF just before puck drop, so I didn't have time to look around

I had wondered if there were. It seems like the best weekend to have prospective players visit.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14 (Part II)

On Sunday, the Sioux Falls Stampede defeated the Waterloo Black Hawks 4-2. Louis Nanne had no points or penalties. Drew Melanson had an assist. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2235419

Nanne's line is now 20-1-2-3-8.
Melanson's Waterloo line is now 37-13-20-33-12.
His total is 39-13-20-32-12.

Edit: One Waterloo player had 10 SOGs with no goals.

Quick note-game decided by a late call penalty against Waterloo. DM was a +1 until near the end but on th eice when they pulled their goalie to try and score and an ENG against lowered him from that to a +0 for the game. This is one reason that +/- is a stat that means very little to me without some further clarification. Some players accumulate a lot of numbers during ENG situations.

I forgot to note that Waterloo's streak of not losing in regulation time ended.

No question about it. But based on the deafening silence re: the question, I'm guessing the answer is there was no one....That said, the SLUt (white out) / CCT weekend will also be a good visiting opportunity...bound to be two excellent games, with playoff implications galore.

Potential recruits seem to travel more in cognito than years ago. They used to always wear their team jackets.

There were recruits there.
